UBS reportedly offers to buy Credit Suisse for up to $1 billion

Swiss banking giant UBS on Sunday offered to buy its embattled rival Credit Suisse for up to $1 billion, according to the Financial Times, citing four people with direct knowledge of the situation.

Asteroid City review – Wes Anderson’s 1950s sci-fi is an exhilarating triumph of pure style

This tale of earth-shattering events in a space-obsessed desert town leans nicely into its own artificiality, and every delicious, microscopic detail is a delight To say that he’s done it again – yet again – is going to mean something different to fans and non-fans.
